******************************************************

any other questions you have for me?
i am full of many more uninteresting answers.

Dinty - Your home is beautiful! I’m just wondering what the wall color of your bathroom is. I’ve been obsessing about paint colors for a reno. Love your site.

Sandra - A great list. I love the movie Family Man too. My favorite Bible is the study bible for women that has bible studies by Jill Brisco.

amy - meg~
i have to tell ya…me and you are like peas and carrots! you actually freaked me out a little bit by some of your answers because they are exactly what i would have said! no wonder i love your blog so much! πŸ˜‰

Tami - Hi Meg
Thanks for sharing. I so enjoy getting to know people and tags like this really do that. Anyways I just wanted to let you know you really inspire me to step out and try new things, Thanks.
God bless, Tami
P.S. Thanks again for the help with setting up a blog. I will tell you after I got your e-mail I realized how computer slow I am..I still haven’t figured it out πŸ™‚

Jennifer P. - I LIKE to learn more about you! I think tags are fun….as long as they aren’t lists of 100 things! I am very envious of your Memory talents. That’s what my 4 year old wants to play all the time–because he always beats me–even when I try!
Love your pictures as always—the one of Waffle getting bigger almost makes me want to get a dog of my own….almost ;)!

melissa @ the inspired room - Fun list, Meg! πŸ™‚ I’ve always wanted Meg Ryan’s hair too. Especially her shorter hair dos. I could never get mine quite right. At least you both have the same name, right?
Happy night,
Melissa

Amy - My goodness…are we related?
Java Chip…most favorite ice cream…it’s even good when it melts…that is how I determine good ice cream.
Pictionary…I’ve only lost once…my hubby and I are unstopable!!
Sequence…Love it! Both games we play all the time!
Coffee…on my second cup right now!
‘Family Man’…one of our favorite quotable movies…the chocolate cake scene…love it!
Fun getting to know you!

Ashlie - You are sooo not boring!! After all, if everything that happened to you was extraordinary, THAT would get boring.
I loved reading through your list. I would’ve never thought to find pictures to go with my answers. You have an artist’s mind, for sure. And I had forgotten about The Family Man. We saw the preview for it in the theater but never saw it. We may have to go rent it now!

Alyssa Sweigart - I don’t know you (got the link from a friend’s blog), but we just might be long lost sisters! These answers could have been on my blog…

Amanda - If you do get the pink bike shirt, please try to wear a bra underneath. Ha!
Lets see… questions for the virtually unknown but endlessly entertainly meg…
How about you do a 100 things about me list? They are tough!…but so worth it. You will be surprised by yourself!
Check out mine, laugh at me a little, then please consider doing one of your own! Your FANS would love it!
God bless-
Amanda
http://iammommy.typepad.com/my_weblog/100-things-about-little-o.html

traci - i think you’re very interesting. love those kind of random questions. i love sequence – it’s really the only board game i play. i hate cantelope too – YUCK!!! oops, i have to go, george is waiting for me with my cup of coffee (he’s so hot!).

One Wired Woman - That is SO weird… The Family Man is my favorite movie of all times too!! I own it and force my friends to watch it with me on occasion after a few glasses of wine. My favorite scene is when he sings to her at the party. It gets me every time…
Jill πŸ™‚
P.S. Come see my new blog design. I did it myself!! I’m such a big girl now. πŸ™‚

Leah Schoonover - You nerd… of course your interesting…thats why we love your blog! I havent seen The Family Man yet, looks cute. Thanks for the recommendation.

Lorilee - Meg,
You are a hoot! (That IS a compliment) I have not heard that much about the movie Family Man. Now I want to see it SOON! Since it is 10:30 and this night owl HAS to get up at 5:30 and is getting too old for much less than 8 hours of sleep, I better shut off the computer.
Blessings,
Lorilee

jennifer - Oh.My.Gosh. Your answer to #10 has me laughing so hard I might pee my pants. I love coffee too, but now I really love coffee!
And I’ve never seen Family Man, but after watching that trailer, I’m sticking it right at the top of my Netflix queue.
Thanks for sharing all about you. So fun to read and see the little things we have in common.

Ronnica - Came over from A Thorn among Roses. Love that you gratuitously threw in a pic of George!
I look at that picture of Meg Ryan and I can’t help but wonder how much airbrushing was done. She’s no spring chicken, you know. Though her hair is great!

PamperingBeki - Haha! You’re too cute.
I love Family Man too.
And coffee.
And pictionary!
And I am such a night owl too. I’m not so great about getting my kids to school on time. πŸ™ Working hard on changing that. Maybe I should homeschool, just so we can all sleep in… Hmm….
How did you get a picture of my boyfriend sipping his coffee up there?! I was on the other side of the table but apparently I was cropped out.

Rachel - Oh my totally forgot about The Family Man, I need to add that to my list of fave movies…I love it…and one of our fave Christmas movies.
I love your blog and enjoy reading about your life!

Shannan Martin - I am so with you on so many of these! Maybe if I took up your coffee habit, my night- owl ways would not seem so unbearable in the morning. When Cory and I have a night w/o the kids we stay up until 2 a.m. just because we can…and then we sleep in til 10. Chipotle burrito bowl with a lime squeezed on top!! They have those free limes there…who does that? I can’t turn them down! And the guac. is so worth the $1.50 extra. Your Maurices reference was the best of the lot. Maurices was where all of the cool girls shopped, so when I was able to by-pass Fashion Bug and get something at Maurices, I thought I was the stuff. I met my husband my Junior year of college and was wearing a men’s size XL sweatshirt from the GAP with a men’s denim shirt underneath. Sex-ay.

jodi - i’m new to your blog but just wanted to say yes! love The Family Man, especially Tea Leoni’s hair and how they nailed the nature of children by the daughter’s knowledge of his “true” self. and as a fellow photography nut (only my camera’s a nikon d80) thanks for sharing your beautiful pictures.
what i would like to know (since you asked) is your best advice for raising kids who stay grounded in their faith while attending public school. i have 7 kids, ages 17-3 who are attending public school for the first time in 10 years (due to living in 5 different states). I’ve never been against public school, but man, it’s tough sometimes. and how do you keep the cost of lunches down? and how do you budget for all the extras you have to pay for (or is that just my state?): gym uniforms, science lab fees, elective fees, fundraisers, it’s more expensive than homeschooling!
thanks again for sharing your life-
jodi

Beth - Pictionary is my favorite game too and no one will ever play with me either. Maybe we need a support group for all of us who love to play but no one will play with us because we are SO GOOD and they are jealous πŸ™‚ Actually, my husband and I are a great team at pictionary and it’s not because we’re great artists (at least not at drawing fast) but because we are on the same wavelength about a lot of things and we guess non-stop when the drawing begins.

Jen - I ALWAYS think it is fun learning about people. πŸ™‚
β™₯Jen

Tausha - ok-I really hope that you don’t think that it’s weird that there is a girl in Utah who thoroughly enjoys reading your blog, even though you don’t know her from Adam. I am not weird, I promise!
This was a great tag. I am not a coffee girl, but I do other obsessions that would equal your coffee one. Your scrapbook pages are absoulately darling! I love them! I love them so much in fact, you might have just inspired me enough to actually do a scrapbook page! YEA!
Your cute houses that you did at christmas, reminded me of a cute house project that we are going to get done at my house this week-even it it kills me~
A cute fellow blogger, made a halloween village out of capri sun and cracker boxes. She just decorated them with paper and spooky spcrapbook stuff! They are darling. Then to make me really jealous-she pulloud out the salt dough recipe and made little ghosts and pumpkins for their village.
Oh so cute! Really not that hard, and sounds like some good memories could be made. I wanted to share with you, you are such a good mom and do such fun things, I knew that you would really appreciate it! If you want to see what they look like-I will give you her info! Thanks again for the great read!

Deb - Oh, I love Family Man. It’s one of our favorite Christmas movies.

meredith - You should make no apologies for your coffee bias. You’ve got laundry to do and a family of seven to organise – you need it! Love The Family Man, so refreshing to see marriage & family being portrayed positively. Congrats on the scrapbooking also, the compositions are brilliant – what a beautiful treasure to have created for your family to enjoy. Thanks for sharing it.

Heidi - You under-estimate your ability to make your list interesting with all your little anecdotes!
I love The Family Man too. I felt quite amorous the first time hubby and I watched it, because it showed marriage to be so romantic, in a realistic way!

Crystal - Pictionary is my favorite too…but no one ever wants to play with me…it could be because I am always on the winning team!

Tracy - The Family Man is one of my MOST Favorite movies and I am NOT a big Nicholas Cage fan…at all! But, there is just “something about that movie!” :o) Oh and I LOVED reading different things that you like, etc.. you MUST be interesting in some part of your life to have all of us followers flocking to read about you every day! *smile* And, my – you DO have a memory if you can remember the exact thing you wore on your first date with Craig – goodness – I have NO clue what I wore on my first dates – EVER! HA!

Lee Ann - I loved it ALL and thought it ALL interesting. Well except for the coffee, coffee thing because ya, well no surprises there πŸ™‚ And just the memory of Maurices…..my high school days came flooding back!

all these layouts are straight even thought they may look crooked.
it's just hard to photograph them straight in the album.

*edited.
must give credit where credit is due.
this last page is an exact lift of this.
i love scrap lifting.  :)

(i think the color looks off in all these but i don't know why.)

it was so nice to get some time to just be creative for awhile.
and stay up late and sleep in.
i feel refreshed and accomplished.

thanks craig for giving me that time off.
and thank you mom for watching the kids on friday.
they said it was very fun.

now i have to unpack all my stuff.

Jesse - What a beautiful job! I tried to do my oldest sons baby book. Didn’t really turn out very well. One of these days I will start over and try again. I’ll look to you for inspiration! Great job!

Kameron - Ok, you are my scrapbooking muse! I am going to do it! I bought a ton of stuff (a while back) and didn’t know how to get started. If you don’t mind, I am going to “borrow” a few design ideas from you to get the ball rolling. Come on creativity, I know you’re in there!

Aubrey - Those are so so so darling! It’s like everything you touch turns to gold–eye-candy gold.
I wish I liked scrapbooking. My kids will hate me because all their pictures are in a box, and worse, still on the hard drive.

Mamarazzi - wowzer!! impressive!
i am not a scrapper. but i am also not easily impressed…this is real talent!
popped over from SITS!!
CUTE blog!

Lauren - hi! i found your blog through my sister-in-law, hipmomofboys — just wanted to say i love your blog and i think you and your family are way too cute! i love your photos and the way you document everything. so fun. those scrapbook pages are so cool!

Trish - oh my stinkin heck……18 pages!!!
that rocks.
I am so far behind that I’ve given up.

Shanan - Gorgeous photo pages. Wish mine were even close to them. You did an amazing job.

emily - I love your christmas pages, it makes me anxious for winter to come!

Amanda - You do good work. Granted, I have never scrapbooked a day in my life, so I am not the best judge, but I would still say that they looked great.
I just love your kitchen.
God bless-
Amanda

carissa - thanks for the itch… how fun!
and eighteen REALLY GREAT pages… awesome for sure!
i need to MAKE time!

Deb - VERY nice! I don’t scrapbook anymore–I just plan to print out my blog every year. Lol.

midwifeliz - Your pages look amazing. I love scrapbooking too. We “lift” scrapbook ideas too…we call it “scrapjacking”. I confess that no one has ever “scrapjacked” my pages.. I’m no artist. But I love looking at other peoples pages. Fall pages are my favorite ones to do. All your pages are beautiful.

PamperingBeki - Wow, those look great!
And a weekend without kids?! Heaven. I can only dream. πŸ˜‰
I have some scrapbooking supplies I’ll give you next time we get together. They’ve been sitting in my craft room forever and I just don’t scrapbook. I’m sure you could put them to use.

kara - You are confirming my desire to want to start scrapbooking. I just don’t know how to get started. Any inspiring words of wisdom on where to start?

Rachel - I love it! I need to do a scrap book…I just get a creative block!!!
Your pages are beautiful; glad you had a nice relaxing weekend to spend on yourself!

Staci - Your pages are beautiful! I agree…scrap lifting is the way to go πŸ™‚ I always go with a group of friend in January to Pine Cove (in Texas). That’s the only time of year I get any scrapbooking done πŸ™ Glad you had a great weekend!

traci - you did get a lot done. good job. and they are all so adorable. doesn’t it feel good? i need a scrap weekend. heck, i need a scrap week. the house you went to is great. i checked it out – very cute!!

Jill - Kudos to Meg!! Great job!! Your pages look wonderful. I am so behind with my scrapping… I just don’t know where to start. I’m also so behind that I wonder if I should switch gears and go digital now. What are your thoughts? ~Jill πŸ™‚

Crystal - I think they all look fabulous!! πŸ™‚

Peggy Rice - Amazing! How about I just send you all my photos? I see a new business in your future.

Leah Schoonover - Your so great at that! I second Jenn’s idea… I’ll cook for you and you can scrapbook for me! Those scrapbooks are going to be such big blessings to your kids when they are older! Glad you had a fun weekdend.

Amber - I’ve never heard of a scrapbook retreat (probably because I don’t scrapbook) but that is a great idea. How else are you to get them done, really? Looks likes you had a productive weekend getaway. Such cute pages!

lee ann - I’m so glad you got away! What a fun time. And thanks for posting your layouts. I needed more to copy……er I mean look at πŸ™‚ Love the one of Talby with the ribbon on the side.

Jen - So great! I love that last page. I do digital scrapbooking now which is so much easier to get done, but I do admit I miss that tactile of the embellishments.
I have a new project on a new blog and I’d ove your continued input. Check it out at lhttp://www.behindtherefrigeratordoor.blogspot.com/. Thanks!
β™₯Jen

Jenn Thomas - Megan, can i hire you to do my scrapbook pages? they look great as always. so often I just sit and stare at my stuff not knowing where to begin. maybe we need a block party scrapbook party. glad you had a fun time this weekend.

tossed around

IMG_7498

it's one of their favorite things to do.
daddy throws them all around and they scream and line up for more.

IMG_7503

IMG_7502

i love how waffle wants in on the action too.

IMG_7505

IMG_7507

scott is so squirmy.
he often kicks or elbows someone…

IMG_7510

someday boys…they might look like dad's.

i love that he wrestles and rough houses with them.
i stay out of it (unless i am photographing it).
then i don't have to say things like "WATCH OUT!"
or "Maybe not quite so high…"

no one has been hurt too badly yet.

it's a bonding thing.

and i do like to watch the gun show.

Sharla - Before I became a mother of two boys, I never knew what a “gun show” was :)Cute pics!

Rachel - How great is it to see a dad interacting with his kids!!! Love it!

katie - the look on your husbands face is priceless! our dog usually joins in and gets pretty excited and nippy…barking, screaming…the kids LOVE IT!

Deb - Oh, yeah, that looks like a typical weeknight at our house. And me on the laptop checking other’s blogs so as to keep my own mouth shut! Lol.

Jill - Oh Meg… this looks like my house every night around 8:00 p.m. Matt whips out these same “wrestling” moves with the boys and they love it. The back breaker… The pile driver… and so many more!! Great, fun dads!! Hugs~ Jill πŸ™‚

emily - I guess this is a dad thing! I always kind of stand back in amazement when my boys get all wild together. Some of those things make me cringe, and of course, I am trying to keep things at a minimum!

Lorilee - I love it! My Dad did that with us, and my husband did it with our boys. Actually, they still do it sometimes.
Blessings,
Lorilee

Crystal - I just love to see a good dad making fun memories with his kids!!!

Lanny Stanard - A perfect saturday afternoon, Have a great Sunday!

growing

remember this?

IMG_3549

i'd say he's grown a bit.

IMG_7242

why are dogs so smelly?
why do they suddenly get a huge burst of energy & start circling the house
leaping on furniture and plowing into things as fast as they can go?
and why are they so smelly?

he's a good dog though.
so good.

katie - that is so funny…we call that burst of energy “haulin’ ass!” one look from our cat sets our dog off on a spurt in and out of every room of our house…cheap entertainment for the whole family!

Sandra - God made him cute so you would overlook the smell!

meleea - your goldendoodle is so cute. mine, tucker, is turning one tomorrow. he smells good when his hair is shorter – i had it pretty long and finally got is shaved down really short. it is so much easier to keep the mats out and he smells good. waffle is adorable!!

spread your wings - is this dog for real?? he looks like a big wonderful stuffed animal – he is SO cute.

traci - so, so cute. makes me want another. i love how he lays. and if we could figure out the answer to the stinky dog question, we’d invent the magic potion and be millionaires. our buddy just got a bath and cut on tuesday and he’s already lost his fresh, clean smell.

Wendyburd1 - That puppy picture is ADORABLE!! I wanna eat it up…in a good not crazy-dog lady way!! What a cute dog. My Max, when he sleeps, he smells like warm Fritos…so yummy!!

Laura - LOL! That last picture – – – priceless.

brianne Sommerfeld Epp - He’s labradoodle, right? I would suspect suspicious amounts of energy for quite some time. πŸ™‚ Trust me, though, some day you will think back on these days and wish you could experience them again.
Also, don’t hesitate to bath your dog once or twice a month, if you are using a gentle shampoo. Dogs are much different than cats. They really do need bathed frequently.
Enjoy! πŸ™‚

Staci - Wish I could answer those questions…but I do LOVE it when they lay like that πŸ™‚

vicki - Oh for the love of dogs! He looks like a keeper. And really, are you sure it’s not the boys socks, forgotten snack by the TV, laundry spilling out of the laundry room? That’s how it goes at our house, the smell seems to waft from room to room. But we like to call it “the dog.” =)

brittany - Your dog is SO cute…what kind is he?

irishamy - Oh… but he’s so cute!

meleea - our goldendoodle, tucker, was stinkier before we got his hair cut. he had too many mats so we got him shaved down. i love how incredibly soft he is! your waffle is adorable. tucker lays like that also.

cynthia - oh my gosh he’s so cute!
love those legs spread out like that…

carissa - i could EAT that dog… ugh… cauuuute!

Sara - That is such a cute dog!!! =] I think longer haired dogs smell more so than others. We had an Australian Sheppard with rather long hair and I had to bathe her like every other day!!! But it was pre-kids so I painted her nails like she was my baby! haha

chris - I think the smelly is all his long hair , I have short haired dogs and they don’t smell as much , they rarely need a bath , which reminds me I should bathe mine, thanks.

Sarah Keith - totally off the topic of what your post is about….but your little one’s dance class…what was that type of dance class called. I’m sure if I went back to that post I’d find it. Just wondering what I call it when I call our local kids dance place to see if they have anything like that available. My 5 year old would love that. love your sweet blog.
Thanks!
Sarah
Vintage Lily

Shana - I love and miss him! He was my favorite by far.
So glad he is close by to visit.

Lanny Stanard - Megan, what a sweetie! I love dogs it will be 4 yrs ago we got our Gus! he’s a huge part of our lifes! Have a wonderful week-end.
Lanny :o)

Amanda Jo - He’s SO cute! He has to be one of the cutest dogs I’ve ever seen!!! Smelly or not, he’s a keeper!

Crystal - CUTE! I could eat him up he is so cute!!

amy j. - Corey claims that Marley doesn’t smell. Ugh. He’s wrong. I have a feeling I’m going to be burning a lot more candles this next year.
And the crazy burst of energy, circling the house, jumping and plowing into things (small children included)? Waffle’s sister does that, too.

meghan - i swear that dog is the cutest thing i have ever seen!

Melanie - He is so cute. I have a Maltipoo and he doesn’t stink. We had a Yorkie about 8 years ago and he stayed in the house but he stunk ALL the time. My husband made us get rid of him. You might ask the vet if there is a special shampoo for him. He could have a skin condition. I know my dog will stink if I leave him outside to long but if Waffle is an indoor dog, he shouldn’t stink. But he is so ‘stinkin’ cute:)

good things…

come in small packages….right?

or big ones too.
in the past 24 hours i have received super-fun happy mail.

IMG_7573

first i got birthday goodies from chicago jen.
chocolate and coffee in a box…perfection.
i miss you jen….thank you.

IMG_7569

then my neighbor girls rang my doorbell and gave me this!
hands down…the most perfect bracelet for me in the entire world.
they got it at cloverleaf in oklahoma.
i am DYING to go there.
thank you jenn & amy…i wish i could have come with you.

IMG_7556

i won a drawing on carissa's blog.
(check out her cute etsy shop)
this hand is so cool.
and packaged so sweetly.
i just love it and can't wait to find the right spot for it.
and to write witty things on it.
("talk to the hand!")
thanks carissa.

IMG_7559

and then my order from scrapbookpictures.com came!
i was on a happy mail high at this point.
the pictures are great.
great quality printing.
i got some 12 x12's, 6×9's and an 8×12.
and this time i tried something different…

IMG_7561

i have a folder in my iPhoto for just colorful pictures.
i ordered the whole folder in 2" x 2" size.
tiny little squares of color.
happy squares.
i don't know what i am going to make….but i am excited about it.

the mail included country living and pottery barn too.
and princess lasertron…i found you in CL.
before i saw your blog.
i turned the page and said "that's megan!"
you lucky talented girl.  how awesome are you?!

i guess now i have nothing to do today but sit and wait
on the front porch to see what phil the mailman will bring me today.

(do you think i could have put any more links in this post?)

Rachel - That bangel bracelet is perfection!
I always love your blog and your colorful posts!

lulusparkles - happy belated meg
thanx for showing your gifts….i
just went over and bought a chalkboard hand!
lov’n it!

Meg - Okay, this is totally off topic, but I love your blog! I have it bookmarked so I can stop by and be infused with your infectious creativity and enthusiasm!!
So, I clicked on your ‘recipe’ folder, and my Parental Controls wouldn’t let me open it up!! Huh? So I disabled the parental controls and do you know what the ‘offending recipe’ was: Cream Puff Squares??? Very weird… I think I have to make them to see what all the fuss is about!!
My computer man says this Parental Control is bullet proof, I say it is a little too restrictive it thinks Cream Puff Squares is taboo.. (unless there is another meaning for the word that I am not aware of!!! )
So Mexican Chicken and Cream Puff Squares for dinner tonight!
Thanks

jennifer - Happy late birthday! So glad you got goodies in the mail… nothing beats that!
Looooooooovvvvvvvveeeeee the 2×2 prints… I just gotta get me some of them!
Smiles,
Jen

Marla - The Cloverleaf in Aardmore, OK is very interesting, but make sure your pockets are padded with cash…a little pricey for someone on a budget.

Mod Girl - Your 2×2’s are most happy indeed! Love them. And that bracelet too.
Would you mind sharing what printing service you use? High quality prints are important to me and sadly, they are hard to come by.

Staci - WOW! What great stuff! I’m dying to know where Clover leaf is???? I live right here in OKLAHOMA and don’t know about this place???? Although, most of the time, I do live in the bloggin world πŸ™‚ GREAT bracelet…I’d like one to say SERIOUSLY!

julie - That stack of photos is ridiculous!!!! Love the 2 x 2’s. Love your photography more….

Deb - Oh, I love love love love love love love love love those little tile photos.
How come I only got bills today?

carissa - THAT bracelet… how cool is that!
would LOVE to walk through Cloverleaf… what a gem!
how neat… those photo squares… thanks for the fab tip! great site!
i’ll have to check out Princess Lasertron in my CL!
coffee AND chocolate… SCORE!
i DO hope you love your hand… THANKS SO MUCH!

Lauren - Nothing is better than a good mail day! You’ve inspired me to order those 2×2 photos and do a creative project…what a great idea!

Liz - Wow! This was like Christmas in October! And any friend that sends York Peppermint Patties in the mail is a really really good friend. πŸ™‚

Kameron - I love getting mail, not bills of course, but anything else! I used to look so forward to getting letters in the mail. People just don’t send hand written letters these days! You could use the 2x2s as gift tags, I think that would be cool!

PamperingBeki - Dang girl!! I’m jealous!!
I LOOOVE a good mail day. (that could explain why I buy so much online… Hmmmm….)
I saw Princess Lasertron in the CL magazine too! How cool!! Hopefully you’ll see me in there one day for my jewelry or we’ll see you in there some day for your home. πŸ™‚

kara - When I was at Michael’s last night picking up a wedding invitation I had framed for a girlfriend. I saw a custom order someone had just dropped of. It was a big frame, and they were cutting a matt for it. It was filled with tiny 2×2 squares that students of a first grade class had each decorated.
This would be perfect for your color pictures. You could do monocromatic colors in one large frame, and they can cut a mat opening for each little square all wihtin the one large frame, if that made sense at all!!

traci - holy cow what a fun day. lots of great little packages. did you give the ups man a hug? can’t wait to see what you do with the 2×2’s. they are so cute.

Tracy - That, my dear is what I call an AWESOME mail day or just AWESOME day in general. Anytime you get all of those goodies and NO bills – is a GREAT mail day! I’m SO jealous! *lol* LOVE the 2×2 cards – great idea and can’t wait to see what you make with them. I know you will post, right?! :o) The hand is also very cute – never seen anything like that before and love the bracelet and of course, the chocolate and coffee is always perfect. Thanks for sharing! I hope the mailman is as good to you today as he was yesterday! :o) Have a great rest of the week and weekend, Meg!

much happier now.

thank you wendy.

this is just what i needed!
and it reminded me of a story….

at target at 8:55 on a saturday night
i enter the mini stabucks in the corner.
i am in my own world completely.
"Girl!  That is a cute top!"
huh?
i look around to see who this sweet boy is talking to.
no one there.
just me.
he was talking to me!
i blush a little and smile and "well…thank you."  nervous giggle.
then he says "what can i get ya?
Cause girl i am going to hook. you. up."
again blushing.
i order a tall cafe mocha.
he gets started and asks me "so what is going tonight for you?!"
i answer "oh you know..really exciting stuff
…target at 9:00 on a saturday night…woo-hoo!"
he told me where to go next time for sushi.
(no thanks)
then he hands me my drink.
"here you are sweetie.  a venti mocha.
but i charged you for a tall.
and that's your hook up!"
wink.

seriously it made my night.

so what if he was girlier than me.
so what he was wearing eyeliner, mascara and more hair product than me.
he made me feel special.
and isn't that why we go to starbucks in the first place?
heh.

enjoy the clip that wendy sent.
i can soooo relate.

Amanda - I can’t believe I watched the whole thing, but it was actually pretty cute! She is a trained operatic singer…so it was kinda neat to hear this type of tune coming from her!
Many blessings-
Amanda

emily - This just had me rolling!
I could hear his voice, I could hear his voice!
When Jeff flew for the airlines last year, he had a flight attendant that was male but used a TON of hair product and “fluffed it” as he said. That made me roll too!

Cathie - Really you should warn people ……. this is how computers get hurt – currently coffee all over mine ….. so where is the latte boy when you need one!
Way too cute and happy belated birthday!

Ashley - Wow – great reenactment! I felt like I was there with you! And that clip was great! So funny!!!

Tracy - Meg, I just died out laughing at this while reading it (at work, I might add) – hee hee hee because I could just SEE this guy doing this and talking that way – I could picture the entire scenario in my head while you were describing it! *lol* Who couldn’t use a little “sweet talking” “hookup” once in a while! Way to go, girl! :o)

Emilie - Aww, you have your own latte boy πŸ˜‰ Lucky you!

Amanda - So what did this fantastic top that started it all look like? I am ging to neeed one of those!
Amanda AZ

Lanny Stanard - Megan, come on over I have something to ask you? Lanny…

Rachel - Awww how great is that!!!

Kameron - Hi, I am relatively new to the blogging world and was having a blogging scavenger hunt of sorts by clicking from page to page to see what interested me. I came across your blog, don’t ask me how because I got lost in all of the clicking and have no idea. :o) I digress. I just wanted to tell you that I love your blog and how fabulously artsy you are. I have always wanted to be that way, but you can’t force creativity! I want to add you to the blogs I read (if you don’t mind). Have a great day!

Wendy - I’m glad you’re cheered up. Thanks for sharing about your “sweet” hook up. That is so cool! That is what Starbucks is all about. I’m just sayin’. . .

susan - Where’s the good sushi supposed to be? I want to get some on Saturday (I’m assuming this target was in the city to the south of you).

PamperingBeki - She is such a hoot!! I love her.
Target t 9:00 on a Saturday evening sounds like a great time to me!!
