little brother picked up the wagon handle all on his own. it worked! wow, beautiful children! GORGEOUS family! LOL about the toad! HA! a beautiful family. wow!!! they are going to love the photos. When I taught kindergarten, I did a lot of things I never thought I would do to capture the attention of the little ones. But a catching a toad and waving it around…I’m impressed! Happy almost weekend! when is it coming back? and if you get to junk through kansas, you better take me with you! 🙂 …and i really miss my country home mag! i left my laptop charger at the craft retreat. i have now gone 45.5 hours without my laptop….my photos…access to my life. and i am trying everything to not curl up in the fetal position and cry. i kid. mostly. my husband went to buy me another one yesterday….because he is so sweet. and we found out that apple chargers cost $70. he wasn't feeling sweet anymore…he didn't buy me one. my friend came to visit from Illinois for work so thankfully i had an 18 hour distraction. but now she is gone and i just look at that laptop sitting there FULL of work to be done and nothing i can do about it. my friend pam came to my rescue and mailed it priority for me even though she is a busy mom and had 10 women in her home this weekend and she is exhausted. i may hunt down the mailman in my car… even though i am still in my pjs…no shower…no bra…coffee breath…slippers. is it illegal to go through a parked mail truck if there is not a mail carrier inside it? probably so. i guess i will have to find a way to spend some time productively today while i wait. clean the house? laundry? cook a meal? play with my kids? seriously? hurry up mail man!!!! this weekend i am with a group of friends…new and old. we are eating all of pam's YUMMY food. fueled by pots of coffee. 5 sewing machines… 10 women… over 100 projects completed so far… awesome. don't worry…we will let you know all the really cute stuff you can buy for water….soon. FUN!!! I’m sure your cute goods will sell out right away…but I MUST have something with Africa on it. We’re adopting a baby girl from Ethiopia, and we love Charity Water and support it everymonth! Please please, tell us what is available! Happy birthday to you! My best birthday gift…was a combination birthday and graduation gift. For my 18th birthday, my mom gave me a bag full of travel books from the library. Which was weird. But the books were all about Paris, because we were going! It was just my mom and me for a week in Paris. I'd never crossed the ocean before, but had been talking about Paris my whole life. It was perfect.
