Stopped by our first house we ever bought. We moved in here when Scott was a baby.
What a lovely house and how fun to revisit! Yep – the Midwest rocks for homes! Our house in Kansas is *nice,* but in Cali it would cost a fortune. We wouldn’t have been able to afford our *starter* home if it were in Cali. Sheesh! So cute! I love going back by old houses I’ve lived in. It would be fun if the current owners would let you see the inside to see if things are the same or not. I live in Lynnwood, Jennifer, and I was thinking the same thing!! Aww, what a cute house!! What a beautiful house, great that you went by to visit it 🙂 What a beautiful home! 🙂 And stuffed full of memories too…. I love this! I can’t believe that’s your first home! In Seattle, where we live, that’s the home everyone has to save, pinch pennies, and wait years to make enough to afford. What a lovely place for memories and another reason the Midwest is awesome. 🙂 I love reliving memories.

Cool that you were able to move the entire thing, but I would like to see the dates on the posts. Welcome to your new home on the web. We just got home from Chicago, and it was AWESOME!!!! But we drove with our 4 kiddos from Philadelphia…two days of close-up lovin’ in the minivan…oh yeah… But it was worth every moment…love the bean, the pizza, the public gathering spots, the art, the river, the everything. So glad you’re having a great trip! 🙂 This is so much fun!

Renee - Christy – you could go far north or south of downtown to get a shot like that. Either to promontory point in Hyde Park or a beach near lincoln park. You could probably get it from North Ave or Fullerton beaches 🙂

Katey - We just got back from church camp and I to am up to my eyeballs in laundry. I was kitchen mom so the boys have given me a few nights off from cooking. Whew. Glad you had a great vacation!! Looked like fun.
