just stop and think.

word.

Jena Simms - Thank you for posting this, drop to my knees and pray right now, video. I am in love with my creator and know he loves me more than my understanding takes me. I just found your blog today… What an inspiration. Funny thing is, I think we are moving to your town in just a few months…God is so big he cordinates life’s introductions perfectly. Nice to meet you Meg!

Karina - He is so charismatic, I wish I could believe him.
I don’t.
But he is very engaging to watch, and thought-provoking about lots of things other than God, such as love and the amazing fact that the universe exists regardless of how it came to be.
Plus, that is one beautiful part of the world and a joy to look at!

Tara - Thank you for this….needed to hear all of this. Made me want to open my heart more to God and give him more than I have before! Thank you so much!

Courtney Henson - Read this book for my little book group over the last few months and was challenged, inspired….I could go on. Really, really good! Now we are reading One Thousand Gifts. Awesome and challenging as well!

Katey Deasy - I bought Crazy Love last week from Amazon and it’s sitting in my pile on my desk. This video made me move it to my nightstand. Will start it tonight. Thanks for sharing.

Georgia - I dont really believe in God or anything.. but the beginning part of the video is so true, i love that feeling of loving something so much you want to scream and cry and squeeeze it so tight… it makes you feel ‘real’

Laura Phelps - perfect way to begin the Lenten season….
who is this man?
he is adorable
I am sucker for a guy who loves God AND surfs πŸ™‚

Christy - Wow, I needed this, this a.m. Wonderful

Lisa- Domestic Accident - What an amazing way to start my week. Thanks, Meg, that was beautiful.

Amy Lynne - wow! I love listening to him speak!

Carla - I believe it all came from nothing, one fantastical amazing wondrous accident. No sin, no scorecard, no great arbitrator in the sky. Just one brief chance to make it count, to live it up. And I believe the world is all the more beautiful for it, that life is all the sweeter for it.

sandy lutz - i love this video and his books. He has a refreshing way of sharing. We did his study Crazy love and forgotten God in our small group bible study for church. loved it. He has other great videos out there to on his Crazy love website .

kim smart - what a great message! thanks for sharing this. i haven’t heard of him before now but i’m going to look up this book “crazy love” and check it out! God does work in interesting ways…

mandy friend - i had the joy of having him as a guest speaker on a mexico mission in highschool youth group(he was pals with my pastor, back before he was ‘famous’;)) my favorite thing he said that weekend was “the Christian life is like pizza, when it’s good it’s amazing, and when it’s bad?…it’s still pretty good”

Melissa V. - Love the encouraging video.

Naomi Williams - B/c you put that balance beam thing on your blog a while back, our teen girls are now doing Crazy Love for SSchool, and we’re LOVING it! Just thot you might like to know πŸ™‚

Cory - L O V E this video. I’m going through Crazy Love for about the gagillionth time. It’s great. Love me some Fran Chan!

happygirl - Crazy Love. I need to read it. I need to remember this is how HE feels about me. Thanks Meg.

purejoy - crazy love. on my list. in fact… downloading it to my kindle right. now. seriously.
thanks for the reminder.

Jacci - I love me some Francis.
He’s so stinkin intense. Love it.

Nicole Q. - Sweet stuff.

Janie Fox - I read Crazy Love and Forgotten God. I love the way he puts things. Word indeed!

Jenny B. - “Here’s another way to put it: You’re here to be light, bringing out the God-colors in the world. God is not a secret to be kept. We’re going public with this, as public as a city on a hill. If I make you light-bearers, you don’t think I’m going to hide you under a bucket, do you? I’m putting you on a light stand. Now that I’ve put you there on a hilltop, on a light standβ€”shine! Keep open house; be generous with your lives. By opening up to others, you’ll prompt people to open up with God, this generous Father in heaven.” Matthew 5:14-16 (The Message)
I asked my husband to come watch the video with me, and he said, “Hey, that guy looks familiar.” He went and got the book he’s reading for a Sunday School lesson he’ll teach in a couple of weeks, and it was Francis Chan’s Crazy Love. I always find it amazing and a little amusing how God puts things in front of us in so many different ways to get our attention. Obviously, there’s something I need to pay attention to here. πŸ™‚ Thank you for letting your light shine!

Jen - What a great reminder. My first introduction to him – must find out more! Haven’t come across him (maybe it’s being an Aussie and all).
Thanks for a great share!

Natasha - Love it! We’re actually looking into getting his book for all the ladies that attend our women’s retreat in May. Can’t wait to get my hands on it.

ingrid - LOVE francis! he’s speaking at our easter service this year and i’m sure he’ll be awesome! crazy love is awesome with all the videos….i just posted one of his videos on my blog a few days ago – the balance bean video – check out that video if you haven’t seen it – super powerful! adore your blog!

pam - I love the way Chan things….word indeed!

Katie - Reading his book Crazy Love right now!

Dana D@BoysMyJoys - Ahhhh, refreshing…wise…inspiring!
Loved that!
(And, if I didn’t already have spring fever, I’d surely have it after watching that video. Sure wish our beaches in SC looked like that!)

today you can find me……

at target in real life.
with a warm coffee in one hand and clearance items in my cart.

and then a fabric store after that.

πŸ™‚

but in blogland….

i am talking about game night and Sara Lee over here today.

Leah - I loved your new header! You are so creative. I wish I had the patience to sew!

April - off topic but just had to say thanks for the “happy things” list – I love browsing it πŸ™‚

Kim Thomas - signing in from Canada. Windsor Ontario that is. I just love shopping in Target in Detroit…I work there so I too enjoy shopping the perimeter for clearance deals. I was so excited to hear that Target is finally coming to Canada. They bought out some leases on a department store here called Zellers and will convert some to Target stores in 2013-2014. YESSSS!

Kristen@JLS - Sounds like a great day. Please share with us what what beautiful fabric you picked out! xoxo,
kristen

Mrs.B - I need to go to Target today myself, but I’ll just stay home & clean…

Angie - Lucky you have a target close by. I have to drive an hour away to go to one. I love that store!
I just want to say tht I like reading your blog. You give me inspiration and I love your home and projects you do. I read your blog evey day.
Angie

Jenn - Mmmmm, Target clearance… my favorite! Hope you found some A.MAZ.ING deals!

Lorilee - I spent a couple of hours in Hobby Lobby this evening after school! I only needed a styrofoam wreath form, but I HAD to check out all the sale aisles. I found my Bunco prizes for March-50% off.
Blessings,
Lorilee

julia - Simpletruths - I love Target. Enjoy.

Tracy Fisher - I love “family” night (Fridays since my husband works Saturdays). We actually play Jeopardy on TV and various Wii games.. and occasionally Yatzee. But our favorite game is called HEADBANDZ. We played it in CA over Thanksgiving, with 4 families, all ages and had the BEST time! I need to find it online since Target and Toys R Us were sold out when I asked. You have to look for it. It’s like Apples To Apples, but you wear your word on your head (on a headband) and you have to guess your own word as others laugh at you.. and it is timed. Great time. Many laughs. And I’ll bet Sara Lee poundcake dipped in chocolate fondu would go perfect with it! Tracy (www.tfisherart.com)

Amy - sorry to go off topic but I think you might want to know that when I logged on today under the Blogher logo was a few links for “meeting russian women” advertisements. Just a little weird.

Beth - wish i lived in the same town as target
i just bought me some fabric today to maybe play around and make something
seen lots of blogs with easy things to creat so i plan on doing it this year…wish me luck

Kerri - Love the new header!! πŸ™‚ Now I feel compelled to head to Target (pronounced “tar zhey”)

gina f. - Sounds like you are headed to my happy places. Have fun and i hope you score some great bargains!

Tara - Target clearance ROCKS. I stocked up on toys like you would not believe. I don’t think I will have to shop for a birthday party present for the year! Enjoy the quiet time.. I went w/ my 2yo twins in tow. Far from quiet.

Kori - I heart Target and a coffee! Have fun..

Jessica @Zocal Creative - Oooh! I love Target clearance! My husband however, loathes it.
Jess

Amanda - Isn’t Target the best?! enjoy your day

sarah - That’s where I was yesterday πŸ™‚ Enjoy it!

Cari - In my book a Target trip is not complete without a popcorn combo. And I usually leave a little trail all around the store. Ha! Enjoy your day! πŸ™‚

deborah@applesinwonderland - maybe i’ll see you there. πŸ˜‰ love the target end-caps.

Janene - My kind of lovely: )Enjoy!

Holly - Today you willl find me with my teenager going shopping. We will also be going to a fabric store during that time. I dont know if she knows that or not!

happygirl - Love your new banner. I remember when I sewed my son’s clothes and baked bread. Now I work for the man to make sure my son has health insurance until he’s 26. Don’t we do it all for our kids?

Tess S - i can’t believe we haven’t run into eachother in the clearance section at target. ah… maybe it’s because we’re in target stores states away. i have to say it takes some serious restraint to be able to wait out a much loved item for the clearance section.

my friend.

i don't know edie in real life….yet.
but i know her.

you read Life In Grace i am sure….and you have heard of Edie's tragic house fire just before christmas.
leaving them with only their pajamas and their family.
nothing else.

i cannot even begin to imagine what that feels like.

i cannot imagine the emptiness she feels.

today is her birthday.

what must that feel like?

all over blogland women are writing birthday wishes for Edie and we are posting them on her blog for her to have all in one place….YOU are invited to join….and link it for her to read.
let Edie know how special you are to her today.

……………………………………………………………..

Edie.
you are a shining star in my world.
you bring Light to my days when i read your blog.
the way you point me to God in every post is beautiful.
i respect your words and know it is truth.
i enjoy coming to "visit" you knowing what i will see and hear will be pleasing to my soul.
you are a strong woman for the Lord.
i cannot wait to meet you someday.
it will be amazing.
i wish your birthday to be filled with truly the most important of things…
love and glory to God.

135

"God is our refuge and strength,

an ever-present help in trouble.

Therefore we will not fear…."

Psalm 46:1-2

happy birthday.
even though it will be like no other.
do not let it be ruined.
Give God all the glory…like you always have…He loves you and created you for a purpose.

i am so glad HE did.
………………………………………………………………..

Laura R. in MS - i never knew about edie’s blog until your post, but i stayed up reading the past 6 months worth. what an amazing warrior for Christ! she and her family are definitely on my prayer list now. thanks for the heads up and pointing us to her blog.

elisa - what did we do before we had the internet to make new friends.
Perfect

Emma - Hello! I really love your blog. I have been popping in on occasion ever since I saw one of your comments on my cousin’s blog. Seeing as how this is my first comment here, I could make it really long and go on about all of my favorite little details in your craft projects, inspiration, and sense of humor. Unfortunately, (insert here: work/kids/time/general hubbub) is not allowing me that luxury right now! =) Suffice to say, I just really love your blog. Thanks! And Happy Birthday to Edie, whom I have just “met” through your sweet post. Wow! What a woman. Have a wonderful day!

edie - i will not adequately put into words how ‘knowing’ you has changed me. i see things differently. i see color differently. i am a woman blessed, by your creative life, by your love and by your friendship. you have that something special that is gifted to very few people and i am full of thankfulness to know you meg.
this darkness that i am in feels heavy and permanent. i know it’s not. i know that God will do what only He does. restore, rebuild, renew. so i will wait and know that until then, he will teach me things that i can only ‘hear’ in this place. this ‘waiting’ for restoration will not be time lost to him. his work will go on, he will plow the field, tear it up completely, so that beautiful, bountiful precious fruit will finally grow again.
thank you for this. love you.
edie

Jenny B. - Wow. I have never read Life In Grace before, but I am so glad you shared about her today.

Southern Gal - Love this.

Christine Ishmael - thanks for posting that Meg..I needed the perspective…

Kerri - SO sweet of you all to support a blog friend! God is Good!

J - Edie and her family are indeed fortunate to have their lives, and even more fortunate to be able to realize that’s really all that matters.
I live in Tornado Alley and have known the loss of material things, but not quite in that way. There is nothing quite like the loss from a fire.
I can tell you, and her, this: it’s not all bad. Good things can come from momentous change. A tornado, over a decade ago, brought us a clean slate, in some respects; new neighbors (so much better than the previous ones!); and a necessity of learning to work together in a new way. Our marriage was stronger for it. So Edie, if you read this: do your grieving. Do your crying. After that, you can’t even take it one day at a time – that’s often too much. Just keep putting one foot in front of the other. That’s all you can do. You’ll get there, and when you get there, you’ll have the gift of strength: if you got through this, what’s life going to throw at you that you can’t handle???? (P.S. Cut yourself plenty of slack. If you find yourself throwing a hissy fit over something small, forgive yourself and don’t waste energy on being embarassed. That stuff just goes with the territory.)

Mrs. B. - A year ago this week my family lived through a house fire. It was a terrifying experience that will forever change my life! Praise God our family got out quickly and our home was able to be saved, but I still have nights that I have trouble sleeping. The worry is always there….
My heart is heavy for Edie!
Mrs. B.

jennibell - Thank you. What a beautiful post. You “introduce” me to the most incredible women!!

Tiffany - Beautiful words for such a beautiful soul!

mrs. may - Gorgeous picture of the two of them!

Staci - Beautiful….just….beautiful!!!!!!!

Margaret Ritchie - Beautiful and inspiring…

Courtney Walsh - I hadn’t heard about this, Meg. I’ve been away from the internet for a couple of weeks… catching up now! Beautiful post…

Rebecca Kriner - Meg- this is so uplifting! Thanks for sharing with us!

tara - “you bring light to my days…..”
said perfectly.
love her with you.

1 Funky Woman - Beautiful picture, beautiful post!
Megan

Flower Patch Farmgirl - That verse with that photo? Perfection.

laura - edie is such an inspiration to me:)….glad you honored her!

Melanie - Happy Birthday Edie. I don’t know her either but I have been praying for her since the fire.

Jodi - Thank you for bringing this to light and for giving us the opportunity to pray for Edie and her family.

Kristi~The Slipcover Girl - gorgeous post.

emily - I love that photo! Beautiful post.

Sherman Unkefer - Lovely and perfect! happy new year!

patty - perfect, meg!
xo

sandy - just beautiful ! I couldn’t have said it better πŸ™‚

lindsey - the pleated poppy - amen to that!

Wishing you and your family all good things,
Leslie

Ruth - Annie is hilarious!
Think I might check out that book. I love your recommendations… but that sidebar of happy links… that is dangerous. So much beautiful stuff – and there goes my afternoon!

evan - Natalie Maines is from Lubbock, TX… where I have lived all my life! She doesn’t like Lubbock much anymore now πŸ™ Did you know she shaved her head recently?? But she’s so stinking talented! btw, I have a crush on Matt Damon too πŸ™‚ Ha!

Jenny B. - Your dad sounds like a fun guy, and yes, with her hair and make-up like that, she does look like you! Did you see that your guest/play room re-do was featured over on TheLetteredCottage.net today? Ashley Ann’s nursery was on there too! Fun, fun!! πŸ™‚

Jennifer D - I so appreciate your blog. love hole in our gospel…powerful book and perfect way to start the year. my husband read first…then me after he wouldn’t stop talking about it. we just adopted our 2nd foster child and although this book is not about adoption — it somehow started it all.

We have an old drafty house also. Is it way warmer upstairs during the summer in yours too?

purejoy - i was told when i was about 20 that i looked like angela landsbury. i think i cried. i’d rather look like mrs. fillpots from beauty and the beast… not the chick from murder she wrote!!

Tanya @ Life in 3D - Love the shirt from your dad. Dad’s are so funny…lol πŸ™‚

mandy friend - I LOVE Westerns. Hmmm…maybe I should point out to my hubby how lucky he is tonight after seeing all the other comments;) And Stephanie’s comment-LOL!!! Meg, I can’t ever see the videos you post, so I’m not even sure who you were being compared to! Not sure why I seem to be the only one???

Tonya Lynn - I love The Hole in Our Gospel. I can’t think of a book that I have ever read that has changed the way I view life: my Christianity, giving, love of others more. I have read it several times and each time I get more from it.

Iris Brown - Did you like the movie? I loved 3:10 to yuma and I’m not a western girl either. Wanted to get a woman’s perspective on movie. You capture such great moments. Annie’s pic made me smile.:)

katey - I wish we could “like” comments like on facebook and I would like Stephanie’s and her husband saying she looks like a lego character. Funny stuff! The movie was good!

Melanie - Fun post! I won’t go see that movie. I am not a western girl:) Love that Annie didn’t want to get dressed BUT has a coat on. LOL!

betsy - You DO look like her!
On a side note, I L-O-V-E that song. It makes me cry every time I hear it. If I have daughters, I want to raise them to be strong & speak their mind like those women. It’s so moving … right?

Amanda - How was the movie??

Stephanie - my father in law thinks I look like Giada De Laurentis. I wish. my mother in law thinks I look like Rene Zellweger. No.
my husband thinks I look like a lego character. Not even kidding.

Whether it is a great link to an etsy print that just makes you smile, or photos that show us that meg’s house is a disaster zone too πŸ™‚ who didn’t laugh out loud at that one! And now that Meg is trying something new, and going on some new adventures as a mom with 5 kids in school, trying to find her place as a woman, as a bread winner, as a wife and creative spirit, shame on any of you for criticizing! I have a feeling that running ads, and joining blogher, wasn’t an easy one for Meg. But I can’t imagine not sharing my morning cup of coffee with whatever! Hmmmm, what craft can I make with th kids, check meg’s blog. What should I make for dinner, check meg’s blog. How do I core a pineapple, check meg’s blog! Hee hee my point, and this is directly to you Meg, keep on doing what you do the best way you know how. Try not to take the critics comments personally, as I know I would, let the other zillion positive comments lift you up and motivate you to finally show us a full post of that dining room!!! I love your blog, your family, your dog, and your margarita recipe! Here’s to a great day πŸ™‚

jeannett - ::hugs::

Julie - Sparkles! Rainbows! Unicorns!
I saw an Angry Birds t-shirt at the mall. Wish I invented that app. I would be a zillionaire.

ALi - So if I were to sum up the other comments I would say they either say, “What happened to Meg’s voice?”or they say, “Leave her alone you are not allowed to complain about a free blog.” Do the fans of Meg – and she has soooo MANY – not have the right to complain when her voice goes, well , in a different direction? I mean all great writers (and Meg is one of them) have always been criticized for various things. But criticism is good!
It means people are reading her and noticing the changes, which is a good thing. No one should be afraid of criticism. Literature courses in college are all about learning how to criticize the great writers. So if some people don’t like the tone of the post (and I agree – it is not bad, it is just not the voice of Meg I like to read) then all it means is that the readers have their own personal reasons for reading Whatever and are afraid that like Anne is off to school, so too is Meg off to another type of blogging.
Meg, we want you back – and this is not criticism, it is only a wish of a reader that liked the other kind of writing, photography and crafts.
And for the people that are offended by those of us with criticism, maybe you should rethink what freedom of speech is about.

Karen - I have to agree with many others. My first reaction to reading this post was, “who wrote this, because it sure wasn’t Meg!”

christy - I agree with Janine! Well said πŸ™‚

Laura in LA - Amen Sharla…amen!

Janine - Eek! I knew the comments were going to be ugly on this one. I will start by saying I support you in making money by blogging. I think you’ll just have to find your voice in how to do it. And that is the key – your voice. This one reads like an e-mail forward from a company. You are new to doing it and mistakes happen. But that’s okay, I’ll stick with you. Please don’t dismiss the “negative” comments as just meanies, or the positive constructive criticism. If you want to make money with ads you can’t alienate your readers because if no one is looking, then no money is coming in. I’ll tell you why I’ve been reading, and probably why others are reading and why these ad posts seem so weird to people. Your blog is what I imagine it to be like sitting down and having a chat with you. Catching up with a friend on their day/week/family, etc. You don’t expect the hard sell “amway” pitch or in this case “blogher” in the middle of that, and when you see it, it’s kind of jarring. You’ll figure out how to blend the ads and the blog, I am confident of that. (look back at your coca cola post – you did a great job on it. That is a good example of your voice while still basically advertising) You have featured blogs, etsy pages, charities, etc. and whether you realized it or not, you were advertising. I think you are trying too hard now. Subtle advertising is always the best, in my opinion. Hang in there, keep blogging and don’t let anyone get you down.

cooldadwt@hotmail.com - My very first comment on a blog….ever! This is comical. Can any of you explain what compels you to complain about the way someone runs their own FREE blog? I don’t have a blog, I don’t go and read any blogs unless I search for something specific and a blog just happens to be one of the results. The wife, she blogs. She enjoys doing it, she enjoys following others. She showed me this blog and how one little ad as well as one single post about the ad has as of now, 5 people complaining. Really?
Hey Zaffron, since she wants to make money off her blog like a business, she should have to accept these bogus complaints? What product is she selling? What service is she providing for a fee? I guess I didn’t stumble onto that portion of her blog.
How many of you go to “business” websites and complain about how their web page is setup?
“Anonymous”- Let me guess, your the type that fills out complaint cards, but doesn’t leave personnal info for someone to get back to you. Just complain to complain, what a weezel.
Meg..or whatever your name is….my advice, do what you have to do. If it means posting an ad then writing up a post every now and then to get attention to that ad, do it. Obviously, even the complainers like what you have done enough to keep coming back.
Kait, Dawn, Theresa, Zaffron, and of course “Anonymous”, I have left my email address in the name field specificly for you and any other future haters. Email me. Show me what you have done that is so GREAT that you can be so critical of the way someone runs their own blog. I’m curious as to what you have accomplished. My guess, nothing remotely as interesting as what Meg has going on.
Meg…..your blog is now saved as one of my favorites. Going to be following my first blog, well other than the wife’s!

Kait - I’m not begrudging her the ads. I think it’s fantastic that she can make money from her site because I think her site IS fantastic. I’ve purchased things from her Etsy site, from auctions she’s had, and from when she sold stuff from 31 Bits. I will continue to read her blog and continue to support the decision to monetize her blog.
HOWEVER – my single complaint is that she’s losing her voice in the shuffle of posting exactly what Blogher tells her to post. If she genuinely likes a product, I’d love to hear about it. I respect her opinion. But something like this, something where it sounds like an email Blogher sent her that I could find on 17 different sites, is kind of silly and a waste of time.
Again, I’m all for Meg getting paid to do something she enjoys and is good at. More power to her for putting ads up. But I don’t think ads should dictate the content of your site.

Stephanie - I think a picture of waffle mid post would distract everyone from everything that bothers them about this.
It’s different, but change is good.
Much love!

Dana@Bungalow'56 - Yay! I was so happy to see Canadians were included in this contest. But now I’m worried about who I would sit with if I won it?
Dana

Erin E. - FYI – Links aren’t working, momma.

Shana - I work for a non-profit organization – sometimes I have to speak to funders about what I do in order to receive a paycheck. It’s not my favorite. But I love what I do and I love the people I serve.
Sometimes making a living requires we go out of our comfort zone to meet an obligation.
It is surrender.
It is obedience.
It is not selling out.

Dawn Zaffron - If you’re going to turn your blog into a business, then you should be able to field complaints from “customers” like a business.

Trish - geesh people… don’t get your panties in a wad! If the only thing you have to look forward every day is reading real peoples blogs, maybe you should get some new hobbies! Just sayin’

Sugar Mama - Wow, and I thought I was critical of others…. maybe I’m not so bad after all. Not only did I not feel that this was a “sell out” but I clicked on the Blog Her link to check it all out. I’ve been trying to get a blogher ad to run on my page for a few months now… to no avail.
I’m just a little fish in this huge ocean of blogging, but I wanted to say that it seems to me the second someone makes their blog profitable for ALL of their HARD work some people get upset. I’ll never understand it. What do you people think Meg does all damn day? She works to make this blog as amazing as it is. And what happens to those that work hard? They get compensated for their job well done.

Sharla - The negative comments from these bloggers make me think of little kids who don’t get their favorite toy every time they go into a store.

Miss Muffs Cottage - Meg, keep blogging – PLEASE…still love you – bunches!!!

Kait - I’m with Dawn and anonymous. Obviously I’m not going to stop reading since I’m still here but it does feel lame when you put up something like this that doesn’t sound like you at all. It sounds like a pitch Blogher emailed you and asked that you slap up so you did.
I think you’re still finding your footing with the ads and hate that I’m being so judgmental but honestly, I really hate how phony this post feels.

Dawn - Maybe anonymous could have phrased her comment more constructively, but I agree with what she said.

Anne - Ignore the complainers Meg – they are complaining about something they get for free. I for one really enjoy reading your blog and understand that you have to make some money too.

Anna Marie - Oh come on! Meg, this is your blog…do what you want with it. Good grief people! Move on and get over it!

Jill - Thanks for putting up with rude comments and continuing your blog for the rest of us. I know you are making choices that are best for you and your family. I love your blog!

Nichole - It amuses me how being anonymous gives people the guts to say things when you can’t track them.
I’ve never been to the BlogHer website, so it’s an interesting link. While I would prefer a blog about life, I know how hard it is sometimes to find anything to really talk about. Life isn’t always interesting and surprising on a day-to-day basis, and in those times you have to find something else to talk about.

Jen christians - Be nice people… If you don’t have anything nice to say say nothing at all..

-- - ive never commented on your blog before. ive been following you for awhile now and i loveeee your blog. or should i say loved?
i read your previous post on how you now have ads on your blog. thats fine. doesnt bug me at all. i dont usually look on the side of your page and i have adblock. however, when your posts begin to become one entire advertisement, thats when theres a problem. theres a difference between trying to make some additional money and being, as teresa said, a sell-out.
believe it or not, but i look forward to reading your posts every morning. so imagine how disappointed i was when i saw this post. nothing personal. nothing about your family, your life, your crafts. just a plug for a company. and to be even more honest, it reads fake. its not you. it sounds like someone from the company wrote it for you and you merely posted it.
please take this into consideration. i know i am not the only one who feels the same.

Teresa - Sell out!

Transparent Mama - I am heading over now. Oh, how I would love to go to BlogHer. San Diego right?
