Your blog is beautiful and I really want to come to one of your crafty weekends. I especially love the United States patchwork thingy. Sooo beautiful. And I didn’t realize your Whatever was from Whatever is lovely, whatever is good…It was so great to meet you at Storyline!! Love and hugs, Tina happyfungirl.com Great pictures! Can you please tell me where you got your “Love More” t-shirt you’re wearing in the picture where you’re working on computer? Thanks! Oh! Waffle’s eyelashes, I can’t shake off that song either! and your drive home *sigh* beautiful! Thanks for sharing pics of ordinary days, I think they look a lot like everybody else’s too. It’s reassuring! : ) ok, so the next post down WAS an entire post of chicken pictures! ha! loved it! you could do an entire post of chicken pictures and i would laugh at every single one. love those ladies! The basket of toilet paper … and the empty roll(s) which never make it in the garbage. Story. Of. My. Life. Loved this post. Fave pics are of Annie because she reminds me of my girl so very much 🙂 🙂 🙂
You are so skinny now!!!! Way to go! I loved all the pictures. Will you leave the bunting up during the winter? I wish there were Menards in the South my girlfriends are always getting cute things there. You inspire me like crazy 🙂 I like your ordinary! These are the blog posts i love, and the ones that got me hooked on your blog about 5 years ago! Xo Totally in love with the rainbow sweatshirts! Have been hoping for years that you will make some in adult sizes!!!! Can I special order?!?
Thank you for this post. I was just telling my husband that I’m a bit weary of my vocation as stay at home mom and all that entails. Just seeing everyday life in someone else’s house and the full grocery cart and the overflowing dishes and laundry and the joy and regular stuff is good. So good to remember this vocation is rewarding and hard all at once. Thanks. Also, I think we might have the same paint on our walls. 🙂 I love your random posts! 1. Who took the last paper towel? That would make me crazy. 2. Where did you get your cute purse? I’ve been on the hunt for two years… My eight visit to the USA is coming up in 7 weeks. Not that I’m counting….much!! In my tripping through much of your beautiful country (my American friends joke that I’ve seen way more of the USA than they have!) I haven’t experienced Sonic. Or a Sonic Happy Hour. Note to self from December/January trip, find a Sonic! These are all fun, but my favorite is the one chicken eye. I really like the roll of fabric from Joann’s – gray background with white and yellow flowers. I hope you show us how you plan to use it. I am just wondering how much you generally spend on the quilts you buy? I wish wish wish I could find a good source for old quilts here in Maine. I always search at antique shops but never have any luck. I have seen some for $100 but I certainly do not want to spend that much on one. any advice? thanks-
Ordinary is very good. Love my new singer heavy duty seeing machine $120 amazon, just shortened 12 king size pillowcases to standard size..the only size pillow I like. Thanks for recommendation.
and now i am literally out the door for Craft Weekend.
Thank you so much for mentioning NEED TO BREATH. I hadn’t heard of them so I watched the video you posted and have been listing to them since. Their music is feeding my soul exaclty when I needed it most. THANK YOU! I love the painted pumpkins! What kind of paint did you use? I’m slightly Leary to let my kids go at it with craft paints, but the sacrifice of their clothes would probably be worth it! 🙂 Thank you so much for the cocktail love!! Those painted pumpkins are how I found your blog, a few weeks ago, linked from pinterest, when I searched “painted pumpkins”. I gasped as I saw them, and then proceeded to begin stalking your every move, via Instagram and blog! I painted our pumpkin….but it looks a little like an Easter egg. 🙂 I’m just obsessed with your craft house. And your green painted cabinet inspired me too…..my husband got on board, and we’re painting our dark wood China cabinet a cheery shade of Aqua! I’m beside myself with happiness! 🙂 I want both the “k” and the “t” pumpkin! My last initial and my first!! They were made for me 😉 I remember the year you did the painted pumpkins. Love. Such beautiful vibrant color! Can’t wait to see if you do them again w/ the girls!

i think i need a cookie as big as my face right now.
oh…. this project makes me HAPPY!
how cute are those painted log cut stepping “stones“??? makes me miss those sandbox days. just kidding.
this picture is just happy. crayons and watercolor... two of my favorite things in the world.
so… i am off to get groceries, take a kid to the dentist and make lists. i often wonder what the mind of an organized person feels like…. and then i get distracted. not kidding. have a super day!
Love all of these. Going to make the crayon and watercolor art with my daughter tonight!
I love these posts you do, maybe because we seem to have the exact same taste in all things. I’m DYING for that green/white globe. And would you make me a pair of comfy lounge pants? In a Tall? ps – WHAT??? WHEN?!!!! ohhh the lists I make…! and the piles they accumulate in… 🙂 Thanks for the dose of happy things! We share a brain most days I often wonder what the mind of an organized person feels like too – for realz. I’m in love with the bedroom with the red accents and green side table! And the painting of the paints. Glad you found who to credit cause she deserves it! So funny! And so many pretty things! 🙂 So sad about your MAC! They are not supposed to do that! Now, I’m scared for mine… (I know, silly… I tend to worry about how the bad things that happen to other people could happen to me). And I chuckled when I read that you want to make comfy lunge pants. I know it’s a just little typo, but I totally pictured you doing lunges in your new pants (which would be a perfectly appropriate activity). Ha! 🙂
The watercolor painting of the watercolor set is by Emily Forland. (I did a little research..) She has some really beautiful illustrations!
we are deep into Camp Create right now (oh-my-gosh-it-is-so-much-fun!!!) we went to the barn and shop today. everyone is creating with stephanie right now so i have a moment to post. Aaaaah- I love these sunflower pictures!!! They are beautiful and capture the glory of God’s creation! 🙂 The picture quality coming across my computer screen is amazing! The sunflower fields say “home” to me. I’ll be hoping for a print in the future!! oh what glory! i hope you will sell some of these as prints in your shop – I would love to buy some, they are just full of joy!
Oh Meg, I’m so exited for you. This is just awesome. You made my Monday a little more happy. Thank you. 🙂 I spy a little buy playing peek a boo in the 5th picture!! Soooo pretty! Meg, those sunflower pictures are simply stunning. What lens did you use ? Thanks! Beautiful! You do a wonderful job of capturing that beauty, thank you 🙂 Meg-I passed a field of sunflowers the other day and you popped into my mind. It was not as large as this field, but beautiful just the same. You take some fantastic photos! Thank you so much for sharing these.
Gorgeous pictures! Moved from Kansas about a year ago, so these pics are making me VERY homesick! Miss my sunflowers and deep blue skies! Thanks for sharing! Made my day! I have always wanted to stumble upon a sunflower field! Next year I am just going to come sleep in the middle of this field and bask in it’s glory 24/7! Beyond breathtaking! Meg! Please sell these prints!!!! Why is there a field of sunflowers? Does somebody plant it just because its pretty or do they sell the flowers? They are beautiful! Please print the “Bee in Flight”!!! So awesome! oh my gosh!!! can you believe that in all my life of living in kansas i’ve never seen a sunflower field? Amazing!
Sunflowers are just another reason I love my state. Your pics are beautiful. The bees in flight are awesome! Job well done! Wow! Just. wow!!!!! Man, they are HUGE! And you are so brave out there with all those BEES! 😀 Oh soooo pretty!!! It’s amazing how much beauty you can find in a simple field. I hope there are prints in the future:) These pictures are beyond gorgeous! Always love your sunflower pictures. 🙂 Every time I see a sunflower I have a ‘How Great Thou Art!’ moment. Only a wonderful God could have made something so beautiful. Thank you for sharing. LOVE the pics! WOW! Just Beautiful! Lovely! I would love to see these in your shop! 🙂 Wow, all these sunflowers facing the sun gives me goosebumps. What a world we would live in if we all faced the ‘Son’…..Hope Camp Create is awesome – sounds like it already is!
there are different models depending on what kind of smart phone you have. we wished we would have gotten it at the beginning of summer because this thing is SO MUCH FUN!! the last time i went underwater…. may have been years ago. and now we are figuring out how soon we can go swimming again! the Watershot is AWESOME! meg, you look awesome underwater!! Crazy fun!! I could never open my eyes under water!!! Jealous of people that can do that! What great family bonding! How fun are these pictures?! Oh I wish we would have had one of these when our daughter was small. Technology is amazing… Great pictures-i just can’t believe how great everyone of you look under the water! I am checking into this case! I want one! Oh-what phone do you have-it works good. These shots are SO cool! I’m gonna have to look into that before our (possible) trip to Hawaii! Love it!! MY question is what was your husband about to grab that you had to hold his hand with that apparent deadgrip?! 😉 That looks like so much fun! My MOST favorite picture is the one of Talby’s smile with her braces. SUCH a great shot! Love the photo’s, but what is your husband doing with his glasses on under water????? That looks like so much fun! I bookmarked the website to show my husband later. I think we might need to invest in something like that for next summer. I’m always so afraid to take pictures of my girls at the pool for fear of dropping my phone! This would be perfect! |

Jenn - needtobreathe!!! i knew i liked you 😉
tonya - yum! I need the recipe for the pumpkin waffles!
Kelley - You’re adorable!! So fashionable!! And I love all your favs!! Well done!!
Carol S. - Looking good, sharp outfit. Though, I think most fashion looks even better when you are healthy and in shape! Jealous of your trim figure and slim face…though apparently not enough to get up and run daily like you’ve done to achieve your goals. Well, maybe. Keep it up!!!!
