my weekend was redonk. it was busy busy busy with lots of fun stuff. look who i hung out with for 1 hour on sunday morning reeeeeeallly early…..
i wore my new sparkly pink cons. i found out tuesday night that we would get to take our pictures on sunday. seriously. it's GREAT light at sunrise. he said we were the earliest shoot he's ever done.
they are kids and tyler knows that. so i just try to put it out of my mind…. and then we hugged goodbye and tyler took off to New Mexico. way. and i didn't even get to see wendy. :( waaah. but there will always be more photo fun to be had with the blue lilys. it's a guarantee. remember this? ….yeah more fun in the future…for sure. I had a problem with random kids jumping into the photos and then my kids weren’t interested in standing still. I took what I could get. HA! i agree with you, Meg. They’re kids, whaddya gonna do. LOL!! We were just discussing how someone always has to turn into a pill whenever we are getting pictures taken over here…but what are you gonna do 🙂 7AM is definitely rough!! oh awesomeness! cant wait to see the pics! those shoes… oh meg… those perfect, pink, sparkly shoes…. How exciting for you. I don’t know who Tyler is, but I am terribly turned on…by that lens. WOWZA! Love Sean’s sweater…LOVE. Guess what, guess what, guess what?! And everything seemed to go wrong. Ruth’s home school computer froze up while we were trying to print stuff off for the tutor session. Eian is home sick (coughed so bad he vomited) and the school phone system isn’t working so I can tell them he is home sick. My cell phone was almost dead – and while I was trying to call the school using that phone, the dog trips over the charger cord and unplugs it. And on and on… But I am thankful that these are just little things! Now, two hours later,I can smile. 🙂 LOVE IT! Good luck beating the week that is trying to do you in. i drove to Lawrence with my two little girlies. then bright and early i left for a day of photo sessions. (and typepad is still making my pics look weird colored….)

It is staffed by the awesomist most amazingly helpful guys (one of them is my husband 😉 The superhero pictures are great! I can’t wait to make those masks with my kids! GREAT photos looks like you all had a blast! Oh I really hope I make it the lottery. I would LOVE to be able to go. I agree, they are AWESOME pictures! But I had the same thing happen to me once with the color being off…so I wanted to at least let you know what it ended up being in case it happened for you too. I’d edit (in Photoshop at the time), they’d look just how I wanted them to, but then once I uploaded to anything, the color would be wacky. For me, it was a setting under “Image”, then “Mode”. It needs to be on “RGB Color” and “8 bits/channel”. Somehow that setting got switched for me. Okay, that is all. 🙂 LOVE YOUR PHOTOGRAPHY!!!!! I love seeing pics of people! ilovey, love, love the suer hero pic! Great pics! You must have a better eye than I do because they look great! Also, superhero pictures? So cute! Have you seen the super hero kit on Pinterest? Or the fort building one? It just seems like you should check those out! any advice on keeping kids happy during a photoshoot?
