Libby - Thanks Meg for sharing this and for introducing more people to Xander! And thank you for never being afraid to share your heart and love for God here on your blog!
Heidi Jo the Artist - Love helping these kids that need families. 🙂 Thanks for sharing.
Jodi - I’ve donated, but I’ve yet to visit the Holiday Shops! Off to check it out! 🙂
Janie Fox - My family is involved with Reece’s Rainbow. It is a cause very near to our hearts. We were blessed with Ollie Faith in February and it opened our hearts to Down Syndrome and the blessing it is. I am praying for Xander.
April M - praying for Zander, thank you for introducing him and reminding us <3
made me want to look up a verse
James 1:27 (NIV)
"Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world."
Breeanna @ a brilliant melody - After reading this, I headed straight on over and read about Xander. I’ve never made donations online, but I really felt like I needed to. Made a small donation just now! Thank you for sharing this!
elisa - love you Meg- every child needs a home.
Megan B - We can’t afford to do much, but I knew I had to help. My little boy’s name is Xander. And he just got back from a Christmas parade with his cousin. They got lots of candy and had the best time. And now he’s singing (*yelling*) “Jingle Bells” as he sorts through his loot. I want this Xander to know this joy and just pure innocent fun of being a child that has NO worries in the world. I pray that by next Christmas, he has a warm house and happy family to call his own.
jane@flightplatformliving - oh i am so excited to find you…please do link up on my sharing sunday bloghop that is for giveaways for orphans. loving your heart. love from jane a reeces rainbow warriorxxxx
Laura Lee - I have a little boy the same age as him. I can’t imagine him being without me. I will be praying for him.
jeannett - tears my friend.
i love that you use your blog to glorify and serve.
because that’s what we are called to do.
i really despise how far away kansas is.
it makes me angry.
