you thought i was going to tell you more about atlanta didn't you?
just because i told you i was?
well….i just need one more day to process my thoughts.
and i spent the whole day christmas shopping.
and finishing my bible study i was a week behind on.
and watching madmen season 1/disk 2 with mr. duerksen.
while editing pictures…..my eyes are kinda blurry tonight.
so for today it's about talby.
she turned nine last week.
how come everyone is growing up in this house?
what can be done?
this is so not cool.
she wore a new outfit from craig's mom to school…adorable!
then got to wear another new outfit from my mom that came in the mail….AHH-dorable!
she was loving all the goodies…..
fancy nancy books, new basketball, new boots, money, a CD and craft supplies.
talby requested a chocolate cake with white frosting and oreos and was very excited to see balloons!
🙂
she had her first sleepover party.
it was a success.
she cleaned her room and set up beds for her friends….she is a little hostess…3 sweet girls came for a fun night.
and they even went to sleep.
at 1 AM.
we had cake as a family the next day and watched Harry and the Hendersons!
old school.
such a big girl…growing up too quick for her mommy.

Second, I have a yearly Christmas party with 2 of my closest friend and our kids (I was pg with my 9 year old and there were 3 between my friend when the tradition started) now, there are 6 kids in all ages 11 to 7. We have yummy food, the adult girls exchange ornaments and the kids play. I love your crafts for kids and was wondering if you could provide me a couple Christmas craft suggestions. We have already done gingerbread houses and making ornaments out of old Christmas cards. I would love to hear your clever suggestions.
Thanks!

Jennifer - What a sweet girl-happy birthday Talby! My 8 year old had her first sleepover in March of this year-total disaster! 5 girls plus big sister = one ER visit (big sister fell off chair), screaming and dancing until midnight; we had a movie to watch (was some icarly thing that some kids claimed they weren’t allowed to watch, so no down time)…my daughter didn’t get enough sleep and was a grouchy rude host in the morning. UGH! I’m so glad that yours went differently!
