Janine -Beautiful pictures. Is that lake Michigan? Seriously looks like it could be the ocean. You know, you remind me of how fortunate I am to be able to go to the beach on a moments notice and yet I take it for granted and still don’t go often enough. One of the perks of living on Long Island. I’ve been to the Sound, but not the ocean this summer and that has been bugging me. The jellyfish are probably out in force now and then you can’t go swimming in the ocean. It takes me less than an hour to get there and I really should just make the time and go. The Hamptons are calling my name after seeing these pics!

Esther -I’m so very sad for you today…I live at the beach in California but the weather has not been exactly warm at all,lots of clouds and cold, very weird summer. patti-we went for a weekend trip to the beach for my birthday last weekend and i miss it too. it was so beautiful. i’m a beach kind of girl. i think i’ll need to retire to a beach town.

It’s winter here in Australia but I live in Brisbane which is on the same latitude as Tampa, FL. So we can swim about 9 months of the year. And yes, we LOVE the beach too!

I loved the little yellow bathing suit. That is as cute as it can get. For some reason I was noticing clothes instead of the beach. It’s a survival mechanism (no beaches near us.)
