do you feel crazy busy?
i don't like that feeling.
i want to be relaxing in the christmas season….enjoying the moments…being INTENTIONAL.
but instead i am doing the opposite.
bleck.
i have only TWO sets of photos left to finish up and deliver.
then i am taking a break from pictures (mostly) for awhile.
i plan on getting crafty with my etsy shop all winter.
i have to share the family pictures i worked on yesterday. (took them over a month ago though)
it was our second shoot…and so much fun.
is that cute or what?
we had great light…i missing those fall evenings already!
change of subject:
ashley ann…my online best friend who i cannot wait to meet in person…
and have her take MY family's picture…
and go to the barn sale…
wrote some very sweet things about me on her blog today.
she makes me look pretty good!
HA!
i check in on ashley everyday.
and i bet you will too now that you have been properly introduced.
****i am so happy that so many of you made crescent chicken. that just made me so happy!****
AND…Jody has a raffle going on for water4christmas.
and i just bought her husband's christmas album and can't wait to get it.
he is a seriously rockin' pastor!
adrienne - omgosh… those blue eyes are beautiful!
Pat - Great crescent chicken dish! I love all these photos ~ your children are adorable. Hope you have a fun weekend!
sharmilla - Just another comment to say THANK YOU for the crescent chicken recipe!!! It has been snowing here for days, it’s minus two billion degrees outside,(no seriously… I’m in Canada) and this was the perfect, warm, gooey, comfort-food dish to get my family over the mid-week hump. Even my fussy 14 month old gobbled it up like it was a cookie or something. We will be making it again, and next time I will even blog about it myself to pass the goodness on.
amy wade - ha! i went to high school with sara & was good friends with her older sister! it is such a small world! 🙂 great pics btw!
Rach - It’s bad when your list keeps getting longer right? Even if you are constantly checking things off it? I can totally relate!
Laura Phelps - yes, cut out the pictures for a while
I know that crazy busy feeling…it is EVERY CHRISTMAS
but not this year
by the Grace of God I have figured out how to NOT make myself crazy
and it has been wonderful
(for now…this can change in a matter of minutes!)
join me in the peace!
amy - ~dying over that adorable family.
~baby fever kicked up two notches.
~miss fall too–it’s actually COLD here in the south!
~miss seeing those horse apples on the side of the road. now it’s just ice. bah!
~guess i better make crescent chicken or i’ll be the only one in the entire northern hemisphere who hasn’t tried it!
~hoping you find some time for you in the craziness.
H-Mama - Girl, you’re one of my faves. Those cheek pix are priceless!!
Sara Cameli - Crazy busy seems to be (sadly) the norm this time of year. So…I called in sick yesterday (bad girl!) and got my hair colored and a trim, had a nice lunch with hubby at cozy mexican cantina, and felt like I had switched from super crazy busy to just kind of busy…if only for a few hours. Today its back to the whirlwind. Love seeing what you are up to!!!!!
Ashlee Archibald - those cheeks! those striped socks! oh man, i’m already in love! 🙂 those are beautiful meg 🙂

jenjen - Beautiful pictures! I know the feeling – I have been like that for the past two weeks. I seriously thought I was going to lose my mind — getting only 3 hours of sleep a night. But last night was my last big thing (except for a birthday party on Friday — which I have no idea what I am doing for…) I hope things settle down for you soon!
XOXO
Jen

shelly - We made your Chicken cresants last night too! YUMMY! Our 6 year old ate 4 of them…then my lovely hubby took the last 4 to work today (he never leaves the good stuff!)
Sorry that you’re frazzled but its nice to not feel like I’m the only one! Your pictures are beautiful!!! If I had a baby with cheeks like that, I’d spend my whole day playing with them too! 🙂
Suzanne - I love looking at Ashley’s blog as well as yours! And I am seriously looking forward to your Etsy shop! I love your pillows! I bought a couple of your last batch and one is going to my neice. The fabric was perfect w/ a quilt that I had made for her!
