kristin is so nice.
SO NICE!!!
i need to learn to be nicer like she is.
she has been letting me take her laptop home while annie is at preschool.
who does that?
she is SO NICE.
and look at her blog at that nut project.
it was too cool.
okay…with no pictures…i feel uniinteresting.
i miss iPhoto.
i mess with all my pictures
“enhancing” them.
so i feel bummed each time i look at my empty comptuer desk.
i have been begging to buy a laptop on credit
but my husband is such a good boy.
“we don’t do that honey”
ugh.
i have had lots of people ask me about my camera in the past
so i will tell you about that.
exciting right?
sorry.
i got this camera for christmas 2006.
my first time using digital anything.
it is a Canon Rebel XT.
it is the most basic of the SLR cameras.
we bought the body only through b&hphoto.com
i have read lots of other blogs about photography
and this was a place that had many recommendations.
we bought the body only
and purchased the lens separately so we could pick the one we wanted.
my lens is an EF 28 – 105.
i have no idea what all this means.
seriously.
craig did most of the research…he likes research.
i have no patience.
so he gave me choices…and i picked this lens.
i may pick another sometime…but this has been great.
really great.
so….does that answer your questions?
it’s the same camera that you can buy at target or walmart i think
but instead has a lens that is metal and not plastic…
and from what i am told….it’s all about the lens.
i love this camera.
but it is big…and bulky
and has tons of settings…and things to learn.
if you are interested in photography and want to get better and better
if it’s something you think about alot…
then maybe you should get a camera like this.
but if you want to carry it with you all the time (it won’t fit in your purse)
unless you are jana.
if you don’t like everyone noticing your big giant camera.
if don’t like a click sound for every photo…
this isn’t for you.
i have had a big SLR camera for many many years.
i prefer the big camera…big screen…big buttons.
i need it.
okay..that was long.
are you wondering what i read right away when i finally got my hands on a computer?
ree
tara
ali
karen
and my email of course.
a few good things about not having a computer…
i made an entire mini album (my first)
from our vacation
and i have talked to my husband face to face
instead of shouting from the computer desk to the couch the entire evening.
just kidding…it’s not that bad…usually.
well…i have to go return the computer.
sniff..sniff…
i will try not to cry
or make her wrestle me to get it out of my hands.
Erica - FYI: I love reading your blog, check it often. 🙂
kristin - simply doing what i would want done to me….glad to share the computer love.

melissa @ the inspired room - Oh, I would definitely go through withdrawals if my computer were ill! What would I do? Probably everything you are doing. And life might actually be pretty good that way!
Wait! I am not on your top four list of blogs. I must be number five. Of course I am.
xo, your BFF,
Melissa
